Celebrating Starnet Technical College Success
On December 11, 2024, Starnet Technical College (STC) proudly celebrated the accomplishments of the 2024 graduating class at our annual commencement ceremony. The event marked a significant milestone for our students, their families, and our faculty as we came together to honor their hard work, dedication, and success.
A Day of Celebration and Inspiration
The ceremony, held at our Graduation Square, Along Eastern Bypass, Nairobi, was filled with joy, emotion, and pride. Students donned their caps and gowns, prepared to receive their diplomas, while guests filled the venue, eager to celebrate their loved ones’ achievements.
- Keynote Address: This year’s keynote speaker, Dr. Silvanus Sewe, PhD, inspired graduates with a powerful message about embracing challenges, pursuing their passions, and making a difference in the world. Dr. Sewe, flanked by Starnet chairman of the board Dr. Makori and the college Director, David Kamure shared personal insights and encouraged graduates to continue their journey with confidence and perseverance.
- Conferring of Certificates and Diplomas: The highlight of the ceremony was the conferring of Certificates and Diplomas. One by one, graduates were called by their names and their presence was confirmed by standing and being cheered by the congregation present, a moment that marked the culmination of years of hard work and dedication.
- Student Performances: The ceremony also featured memorable performances by our talented students, including a musical tribute and speeches from student leaders and their lecturers who shared their experiences and gratitude for their time at Technical College.

Family and friends gathered to cheer on their loved ones, and the atmosphere was filled with excitement and joy. The graduation reception following the ceremony offered graduates and their families the opportunity to continue the celebration with Starnet Technical College fellow students, faculty, and staff.
